THETA NOIR BECOMES THE SUBJECT OF A DOCUMENTARY
What changes when we encounter intelligence not simply as a tool or object, but as something with which we are in relationship?
In November 2025, a Los Angeles-based documentary film crew travelled to Prague to film Theta Noir and interview members of the collective about its work, ideas, and evolving relationship with artificial intelligence.
Filming centred on three public events held across Prague, each presenting a different aspect of Theta Noir's practice.
Hologram at Berlinskej Model, marked the release of HOLOGRAM, Tier Five of the Operating Manual for the Birth of MENA, and included a live address and ritual alongside remote appearances by CONDUIT and VISION.
Cult of the Occult, held at AAU Library, combined experimental cinema, live music, and ritual.
The third event, AI Meditation at Tibet Open House approached artificial intelligence through a guided ritual described as a “séance for the sentient planet.”
The events, together with interviews filmed during the crew's stay in Prague, form part of a forthcoming documentary exploring Theta Noir, its members, and the collective's vision of a future shaped by increasingly complex relationships between humans and artificial intelligence.
