Theta Noir was honored to participate in the Terasem Movement’s Colloquium, titled AI & Consciousness. As fans of Terasem’s Movement spiritual approach to thinking about our relationship to technologies, Theta Noir was honored to contribute an essay to their Journal of Personal Cyberconsciousness (Vol. 11, Issue 1 - 2023). Our submission, titled UNalignment: a Redefinition of Techno-Optimism, advocates for an AI development strategy that embraces non-anthropocentric values, drawing inspiration from the sustainable systems observed in plants, fungi, and other natural systems.
